It’s Time to Reveal the Secret Behind the Stunning Looks of the Opening of El Gouna Film Festival 2021

Ever since the first edition of GFF took place in 2017, we wait impatiently for our stars to show up in glamorous looks every year. Our Arab celebrities show off their beauty, glamor, and style wearing stunning attires and breath-taking makeup and jewellery. That said, let’s break down some looks from the opening of GFF, fifth edition.


When we say glamorous, beautiful, stylish, and phenomenon, we’re definitely talking about our superstar, Youssra. She showed up in a custom-made baby blue couture dress that captured the red carpet and our hearts. The dress and clutch were designed by Georges Hobeika and her blue topaz and Baroque pearl earrings and ring were also custom-made by Dima jewelry. Dina Dimitry is the artist behind her fabulous makeup.

Mona Zaki

As always, Mona Zaki always rocks the red carpet with her stunning looks. This year, she wore a custom-made Maison Yeya Couture Privee gown. Her timeless style and elegance added up to the dress and made a statement on GFF's red carpet. Her clutch is from Sarah’s Bag and the jewelry is from Vintage Lane. The fabulous makeup was done by Aya AbdElHamid.

Dorra Zarrouk

Dorra always makes us wait every year to admire her looks that never failed to wow us! Her black and white dress was designed by Georges Chakra and her flawless makeup is by the talented Mona Gamal.


Dazzling us with her fresh ombre yellow dress, Bushra makes a statement with her beautiful and cute look. How adorable is she?! Her makeup was done by the celebrity makeup artist, Nehal Khalil.

Hend Sabri

Her red carpet look this year was fresh and vibrant as she chose a fantastic yellow custom-made dress by the brilliant designer, Fouad Sarkis. Her makeup was done by Soha Khoury, hair by Ahmed Mounir, and jewelry by Iram Jewelry.

Yasmine Sabri

It seems like yellow is the dominant color this year as it was also the choice of the queen Yasmine Sabri.  She’s giving off butterfly vibes with her custom-made dress by Rami Kadi. Her hair was by Ahmed Mounir, and her stunning makeup was done by the one and only Shariff Tanyous.

Arwa Gouda

Arwa is one of the celebrities who manage to dazzle us on every occasion. Unfortunately, at GFF’s opening ceremony, she couldn’t find the dress that she intended to wear, so her friends helped to sew a dress for her in under 24 hours! She commented on people’s criticism saying that she accepts it as long as it is constructive.

Saba Moubarak

The gorgeous Saba wore a Tony Ward couture dress. Her makeup was done by Soha Khoury and her hair by AlShagheer Salons.

Sherine Reda

The stunning Sherine Reda wore a jaw-dropping gown designed by Maison Yeya. The flawless makeup was executed by the MUA Mayar Fouly and hair by Ahmed Mounir.

Rania Youssef

Even though she is currently shooting a series, she was able to make it to the GFF. Every year, Rania impresses us with her daring and fearless looks. This year, she wore a stunning navy-blue dress by Ayman Lahmouni.

Amina Khalil

The always-gorgeous Amina Khalil wore a sophisticated dress by SOOCH that had lots of beading and a phenomenal back. Her drop-dead stunning makeup look was completed by the MUA Dina Ragheb.

Dalia El-Beheri

Dalia El-Beheri showed up in a fabulous cape-sleeve dress by Hany El-Behairy. Her stunning makeup and hair were by AlSagheer salon and her jewelry by Iram.

Nadine Nassib Njeim

The Lebanese gorgeous actress showed up like a princess wearing a dress by none other than Zuhair Murad. Her makeup and hair were done by Dina Ragheb and AlSagheer salon.

Somaya El-Khashab

Although this was her first time attending the GFF, she was able to turn heads with her spectacular look. Her beaded silver dress was designed by Youssef Al Jasmi and her makeup was done by Abdalla Refaei.
